I imagine many Israelis have lost many nights of sleep due to the violence regularly visited upon them. The ambiance I've tried to create is what I envision a night at a shelter would resemble.
I wouldn't expect much sleep to occur but there are some who are used to the noises. Some are restless and chattering while others are watching the television for news. Meanwhile the missiles and explosions happen at regular intervals. Someone brought their dog but like most dogs they tend to bark at most anything making sleep even less possible.
